Let me begin by saying I do not like Dentists or Oral Surgeons however my pain exceeded my tolerance and my wife sought out Dr. Newab. The bedside manner of the staff was incredible. We talked about my career and family. The procedure involving wisdom teeth went well and I had to go back a month later to have some stragglers removed. They remembered some personal details as well. I highly recommend this establishment and the team.
When I called Mid-Maryland Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery to set up an appointment, the lady I talked to over the phone was very helpful and was able to accommodate my need for an appointment more quickly than I expected. I had a problem that required a dental surgeon. Dr. Nawab is terrific. She is both skillful and kind. Dr. Nawab has an excellent demeanor and was able to fix my dental issue with skill. We had the best experience with this dentist office. My husband had to go to the emergency room because his face had swollen from infected teeth, and he was in a lot of pain. The emergency room doctor refused to call the oral surgeon in to help my husband and sent him home. We called Dr. Nawab and they got us in right away. Dr. Zwack saw my husband and explained that he had a severe infection. They started him on IV antibiotics and put him to sleep to remove three teeth. Our first time using this practice and it was absolutely amazing. From the moment we walked in until hrs after the procedure everything was done with the best intentions. We came from dc which is about an hr drive but it’s worth it. Everyone is very comforting and positive. Dr. Nawab was amazing explaining everything to us from beginning to end. I had my wisdom teeth removed there by Ayesha Nawab!! She did amazing! I’m genuinely so surprised because I thought I would be eating nothing but smoothies for the first week but I was eating fine(ish) by day 3, swelling was very minimal the whole time (I put on the ice pack, DO THAT), and there was barely any pain.
