I had a wonderful experience at Pleasant Hill Animal Hospital yesterday. I reached out early in the morning to schedule an appointment for my dog, who needed an X-ray after an ER visit the night before. They were able to fit us in at 1 p.m., which I really appreciated. As soon as I walked in, I was greeted by the receptionist — she was pleasant and very friendly, which immediately made me feel at ease. I've been taking my babies to PHAH for many years that I feel like family every time I walk through their door. The staff are always pleasant, caring and understanding, especially when I had to put two of my babies to sleep. They ALL show pure and genuine love towards my babies. The vets explain any prognosis in simple terms so that I can understand whats happening and why my little one is sick. Brought my puppy up for a rash. My dog ended up sitting in a kennel for 6 hours and never even got seen by a vet. They charged a deposit before he was taken back. When I came to get him I asked for the deposit back because service were never rendered. They claimed to do a reversal, but a few days later the charge went through with no reversal. They claimed there's nothing they could do. They basically robbed my and held my dog for most of a day without any treatment or even being seen.

My husband and I have two cats; one old and big boy (Theo) and one missing an eye (Ace) - I have take Ace to three vets in his life and this is the first one who actually takes time to ensure the scar in his other eye is good. Theos previous owners had him declawed as well and this practice spent time ensuring that this wasn’t effecting how the cats interact. Truly a practice that cares for their patients and will be the only one we will be going to!!
