Central Texas Animal Hospital is wonderful I have been a client of Central Texas Animal Hospital for over 5 years and the care that my pets have received there has been excellent. The doctors and staff are professional and compassionate. My pet and I are always treated warmly and respectfully. I highly recommend CTAH for anyone seeking a great place to take their beloved family pets! Pros + Quality pet care, Professional staff, Affordable

I have been bringing my cats to CTAH ever since I adopted them almost 15 years ago. The veterinations and assistants at CTAH are great with animals and their owners. They take good care of us. I am confident in the care my cats receive, and if I have any questions, they are always answered. I would not want to take my cats anywhere else.

I like the clinic but not the groomer. I've taken my dig to the groomers here for a few years however the last two times that I've taken my schnauzer here the groomer has shaved him too close on both ears leaving them bleeding. They also cut the tip off of one of his ears which really upset me. I'm now looking for another place to take my dog. I like the vet and will continue going for care but...

Terrible Customer Service Although I found Dr. Coleman to be very compassionate and informative about my 12 yr old dog's diagnosis, I was very dissatisfied with the clinic manager's attitude and the way she handled payment. It was taking an usually long time to drain fluid from my dog's abdomen and after I had paid the invoice, Michelle stated ""We didn't charge you enough. It's taking too long and too many staff members to get this done so we'll have to charge more next time."". My dog is in the end stages of liver failure.... read more

Extremely Poor Service Quality If you read nothing else about this review, take from this that you should NEVER take your cat to be groomed at Central Texas Animal Hospital. I should start off by saying that I have been getting my cat groomed, with a lion cut, two times a summer for the past four years. Having moved to Texas this year, I needed to find a new groomer. Dr. Julien was TERRIBLE The building is lovely and the vet techs are friendly and helpful. I have only met Dr. Julien, but I will never let my dog see him again. I knew my dog was having some balance problems, but I needed to get him in to a vet for an exam and to pick up a heartworm med. prescription. Dr. Julien decided without consulting me (or telling me the price!) to draw blood samples for a distemper test. ...
