The staff here have been very helpful in the last 6 months since our 11 year old chihuahua Layla was diagnosed with congestive heart failure. She'd been doing well on 4 different meds 2x daily but we knew we were on borrowed time. Last weekend I made the most difficult drive from SLO to Atascadero when it was time for Layla to be put to sleep. Everyone there that Sunday morning was so kind and compassionate. I even got a sympathy card from them a week later. Great place.

We tried to prepare our fur baby, Chuey, for his annual check up. We told him that: They will be putting something in your butt, tell you that you are fat, check the bump on your ear, and give you a shot. Would you believe : you are carrying some excess weight, instead of you're fat!!?? I love this doctor!! My doggy was not so happy last night, from the injection, but after hiding under the bed for hours, he is back to normal. No cancer!!

Dr. Cherbinsky and the staff were outstanding in their treatment and expertise of care on my dog Kota who I brought in on an emergency. She was bleeding out from her mouth and they were quick to react and saved her life. The compassion and kindness they showed me was very comforting during an extremely stressful time. Dr. Cherbinsky was a man on a mission and took excellent care of Kota while keeping me informed of her status 3 to 4 times a day. Best care ever for my animals. The staff is caring and the doctors are exceptional in their knowledge. Thank you Dr Schechter for always being there to help in our times of crisis!

The staff is so kind & caring; their first priority is the care of my very sick pet. It's an extra half hour drive from Santa Maria & very, very worth it! I highly recommend Atascadero Pet Hospital!

The vets are awesome and caring. My only beef is some of the techs behind the counter can be short tempered and have an attitude. Something nobody needs when they're worried about their fur babies.
